When I start to drive I hear a creaking noise in the center console. It sounds like one of the tabs that is holding the console needs lubricant. The sound is coming around the cup holders.
I know I can take the car in for warranty, but really can they fix a creaking sound and what kind of damage are they going to do when and if they take the center console apart. I am leaning towards taking the Rogue in because of this noise. Just an FYI if this has happened to anyone.
I have the premium package no leather seats.

There is a Nissan Tech Bulletin NTB08-031 dealing with creaking noises around the center console/shifter area. You can find it in the Official Rogue FAQ under Nissan Technical Bulletins.
This is a warranty repair. The dealer will remove the shifter trim, install a few pieces of tape to eliminate the source of the squeaking and re-install.

I did not know there was a TSB for this. I'm glad it was brought up. I have an annoying creak around my gear selector, and took the car in once for it, and they didn't find anything that day except for a steering-column rattle which I am taking it back in for on Monday.But thanks, I will be sure the dealer fixes the center console creak now that I know there is a TSB for it.
