I have the 08 SL no leather and added a homelink attached to moonroof wiring for over a year FYI, past few days when I tilt the moonroof the front rubber seal on the glass is rubbing (seems to me) to hard against the front opening of the body of the car. I tried the reset procedure and on step 3 the moonroof did not close so I don't know if I need to take it to nissan or keep trying the reset or maybe I need to grease the rubber on the front of the glass of the moonroof? Thanks.
1. Close the sunroof if it is not in the closed position. It may be necessary to repeatedly push the switch to close the sunroof.
2. Press and hold the TILT UP switch the sunroof will tilt up. Release the button.
3. Press and hold the TILT UP switch again. Do not release the switch, keep pressure on it. After 4 seconds of depressing, the sunroof will full close.
4. Initializing procedure is complete. Confirm proper operation of the sunroof (slide open, slide close, tilt up,tilt dow

Since it's an 08, I would trying conditioning the rubber weatherstrip. I find something as ordinary as those armor all sprays for the rubber makes it very slippery where it might help here. Don't know how dry or hard your weatherstrip is but it should help a bit. :naughty:
