08 rogue SL Bose radio problem display dots missing

See if anyone had this problem, my stock radio is missing a row of dots on the display. Almost right in the middle. It just start had a battery die replaced with OEM Nissan battery but my radio display is messed up. I played with different settings and what ever I did got the dots back.

Anyone has had this problem and/or a fix.

Once upon a time the average life expectancy of a new vehicle was 4 years. These days it's double that at around 8 years. As your vehicle is now 10 years old, parts failing is to be expected. The radio display is most likely on it's way out, as was evidenced by the glitch that appeared when you changed your battery.

There's two ways to "fix' it.
1) New radio
2) New car

Thanks for replaying, but ouch harsh. I was hoping like maybe a fuse is messed up or check the electrical system. Really what is a 08 Rogue worth these days $7000 at most, 120,000 miles and the car still looks brand new. I will wait and see, maybe an sweet aftermarket radio.

Yeah, sorry I got a bit carried away. Since you're happy with your ride, I'd hang onto it. If everything else is working fine, just go for a decent replacement radio. You might want to replace the speakers while your at it to get the most out of a better sound system.

Or go to the junk yard and pull an original radio to replace it with.
