08 QX56 Engine and Trans Direct swap into 04 Titan?

My Titan has over 170,000 miles on it...highway, city, heavy hauling. Still runs fine, but my neighbor wrecked his 08 QX56 (with only 15,000 miles). His insurance says he can keep the car (he'll have to pay a fee, which will be passed on to me).

I'm hoping these two engines and trans are the same, and it'll just be a direct swap...very thankful for any help or info.

No. Thats the simple answer. They run different ECU settings and the engine harness is also different. I'm sure you could make it work.... with R&D and patience.

I am sure that would work, you may have to have it re-programmed at a Nissan dealer. What a great way to extend the life of your Titan!!!
