Does anyone know the location of the power train computer(PCM) I cant seem to find it anywhere online, mine is throwing a code that says it’s no longer keeping memories so I’m having quite a few issues and trying to take it out to send it out and help or advise would be greatly appreciated

Nissan calls it an ECM. In your '08 it's located in the engine bay, passenger side, rear corner. See page EC-30 of the service manual for a visual of the location. https://www.nicoclub.com/service-manual ... 008/ec.pdf

Thank you!! Do you also know if the pathfinders had the same transmission problems as the xterra and frontier with how the transmission cooler line runs through the coolant radiator? I have a blueberry milkshake like substance gathering at the top of my radiator

Yikes! I don't know if the Xterra and Frontier models were cursed with the SMOD (strawberry milkshake of death) issue like some Pathfinders. This has not been something I have had to deal with but from what you just described, you may have a very serious problem that needs to be dealt with immediately. Aside from getting a new radiator immediately and flushing the engine cooling system, your transmission may be getting trashed the more you drive it and could bite the dust at any moment. At this moment, I can only hope someone else on this forum can post you a reply with something more encouraging than the doom and gloom comments I just wrote. Good luck.
