08 Pathfinder Intelligent Key not working

Ok, I was changing the battery in the pathfinder and after it was done my intelligent key would not work, it does not even work in the manual key ignition either, it will not turn. The key will work in the door, but not in the ignition all locked up. I replaced the batteries in the fOB but that did nothing. Could I have accidentally activated the anti theft that rendered the vehicle useless? And if so how do,if is that?

To disable the anti-theft, I believe you just need to close and lock your driver's side door with the key.

You may need to reprogram your fob, but this should not have an effect on the intelligent key.
