08 pathfinder adding 3" lift kit

Might be a n00b question but, if im installing lift kits(3" on back, 2" on front) do I need to install larger shocks?
Even with the 3" in back, and nothing in front, my rear is still lower than my front, possibly due to all of the tool she and gear I ride around with for work, but it makes it annoying to see out my back window with the brake light sitting right in the top of the window.

Sounds like you might just need an airlift 1000 kit and not a traditional lift kit.
