As you may have seen Nissan just announced the release of the GT-R in the US in 2008 (approx. $70K). It is going to be a 3.8 liter twin turbocharged engine (all wheel drive) capable of 473 HP and 434 #'s of torque.

Knowing this I have always wanted to put the twin turbo on my G37 engine. Does anyone know any further details? is it really a 3.8 liter engive vs. the G37's 3.7 liter or is that just marketing? Any other information would be appreciated.

any insight into other manufacturers twin turbo's capatible with the G37?

.....the motor in the GT-R is a different classification than the 3.7 in our G.Don't know of anyone with twin turbo, but a single turbo, tuned right will give ear to ear grins. However, the 3.7 has a higher compression than the 3.5...Will need to watch the boost level or do internals to retain motor integrity.....
