My 08 Nismo has been using oil. A local dealer has quoted TSB06 stating if the dipstick level drops more than 8mm over 1200-2400km that the engine needs to be replaced. My level dropped 10mm over 2100km and now I am waiting on Nissan to reply on replacing the engine. (Total mileage 12,300miles) Has anyone else encountered this? Is there somewhere I can get a copy of this TSB?

Drag, I searched for a TSB for the VQ HR engines and came up empty. The TSB that covers the '05-'06 VQ35 Rev Up engines is NTB07-088c. It lists the consumption testing procedure and process for engine replacement.

I'll seach more later and post what I find (if anything). You've already taken the first step of addressing it with the dealer. Beyond that I'd just say document everything you can.
