WELL IT SOUNDED CRAPPY To me and the other half also. Her fx 35 sounds better . Hell i rented a Toyota Avalon and that car sounded pretty damn good mayb not 5.1 but loud and booming. Still that Lexus sound was kicking .

i agree that the sound systems sucks...its missing the highs and lows...i want to at least make the sound fuller by changing the subwoofer...if i change to subwoofer speaker alone will that make a difference in terms of better lows???

CHANGING THE SUB MAY WORK but isnt the bose amp the problem. i think that the amp takes away the heavy bass on high volume( especially) to protect the speakers and all a common problem with most stock radios . U can try changing the sub only and see what happens. It couldnt hurt and if u r going to change it anyway . Y not. GOOD LUCK . let us know what happens. Im changing everything as soon as i can get some dough. Its going to b mad expensive and gas is insanely high so it will b awhile. i want to get everything at once not a speaker at a time.

hey mk84boom . Is the sub located in our car on the back deck - a drop in. And the amp is that in the trunk . THANKS IN ADVANCE.

Yes, it is a drop in woofer (free air) and I did not remove it. It is also located next to the Bose amp which is under the rear deck lid.

The M is definately a driver's car...with tons of technology goodies comparable to the GS. But if you don't mind sacrificing a little "fun factor" go with the GS. You will end up having a car that's more reliable across the board. Especially if you finance or pay for the car cash.
