Information in terms of the width of the wheel is also a huge factor.seldomseen wrote:What offset are your wheels? The mm of spacers you get would depend on what look you're trying to achieve. Do you plan on cutting/pulling your fenders out? Or will you keep your fenders the way they are? You will need to know the offset of your wheels, the max + offset the M35 can handle, then purchase spacers that will not exceed the max offset. You'll simply need to add mm of the spacers to the mm of your 22" wheels offset to get this number.
You may also want to consider buying a set of aftermarket struts that can handle your Eibach springs before you blow out your OEM struts.
Wheel width isn't a great concern in this case (but in general--yes width is imperative) The quality of spacers today are pretty good and do not create noticeable issues with vibrations. This dude technically didn't purchase the incorrect offset/size/width he just wants a more - offset for his wheels. In order to achieve the "perfect" wheel fitment it's best to purchase a custom fitted wheel---which is expensive as hell. But since most folks can't afford this option they rely on spacers to help attain the look desired.07sportm35 wrote:Information in terms of the width of the wheel is also a huge factor.seldomseen wrote:What offset are your wheels? To sum it up, you need the width of the wheel, and the offset of the wheel.
But, in general I would avoid spacers. They will probably cause your car to shake at highway speeds, as well as stress out your suspension. You would have been far better off buying the correct wheel offset/width from the start.
From the picture I would say somewhere between 5-10mm.
A very affordable way to add a touch of style is the Ebay roof spoiler. You dropped it and put wheels now the spoiler will make it stand out for sure!! Well under $100 bucks already painted, comes from Japan sometimes takes up to three weeks but worth the wait. Installation is super easy also!! Mine took under two weks to arrive!infinite M wrote:I have 245/30/22 tires . Have had 4 adults and luggage in the trunk and had no rubbing .. i want to do something else with it but not sure what rode to travel down next or where to even start some suggestions would really help and where i can get things for the M from ? I have a little extra cash hanging around (income tax)
The Spoiler has been purchased from many different Sellers on Ebay... I went with bc_moto I believe, (its been a while) also brakes are great! If you decide to look them up on Ebay be sure to get them from Brakemotive in IL. Still available last I checked... I've put almost 30k miles on mine and still really good!! I've considered the bbk but I don't really need itinfinite M wrote:Thanks bodyguard we have the same color car apparently as it looks except yours looks about 100x better than mine lol i am gonna look up that now on ebay i see u got the ebay rotors also and particular brand that u recommend from ebay for the spoiler or rotors?
