08 M35 S Apple AVI Cord not charging ipod?

Gents,
I finally broke down got the apple avi cord to play videos (yes i have nav hak) and it was working fine charging my ipod touch (4th gen). Then all of sudden it doesnt charge, wtf apple. So i tried using the a wall outlet, and apple only crap still no charge is coming. This happen to anyone? It worked before now nothing. wont even charge from the computer. So im either going to take it back to get a new one!!! Any info would be great to know. Thanks
