Hey guys I been looking for led bulb for my 08 m35. I do not wish to convert to 3175, instead I wanted to just get ba9 led bulbs but i can't seem to find the right led. I purchased couple ba9 led bulbs and ba9 adaptor for led panel and none of them work. Any suggestions?

I had that same issue, dunno why. Most who have upgraded to LED dome lights had no issues that I am aware of. I purchased 2 different sets including a set from Vled and still the bulb would not sit properly or function. In the end, I bought a flat board of LEDs and mounted them next to the area where the bulb sits. No issues whatsoever. They were purchased from Vled and the klink is below. You simply choose 5k or 6k color (you don't need any adapters or plugs. Just strip the ends of the wires and attach to the contacts for the bulb you removed. Here are photos of what I did and the results. Here is the link to purchase them: http://www.vleds.com/diy2-6-hp-c.html They match perfectly to the Vled bulbs in the doors and reading lamps, also purchsed from Vled.

This is what I have in my M for the last year. Very bright, no issues.

Vleds are the beez kneez. That was what surprised me most. I have Vleds on my park lamps, doors, courtesy lights, trunk lights, turn indicators, foot wells, vanity mirrors, and even under my shift knob. The Vled BA9 bulbs would not sit properly. I doubt it's the bulbs. It's something with my dome light socket or housing. Perhaps the last owner messed with it somehow.

Agreed, my car is loaded with Vleds except for vanity mirror. That bulb is a tad to short.
When I put the BA9 bulbs in one didn't work on the left side but it did on the right, the other bulb worked on both sides.
