None of the Brake Co's list the XS. Same thing with Sway bars. Stillen says no lowering springs, No suspension parts. "Everything G35" wont answer any of my email inquires. I Love this car, but NO ONE makes any Suspension or Brake upgrades for the XS!!! Jerry Collins

Although I have to wait for Poyzinous response

You can go with Frozen Rotors and Hawk Pads if you want to maximize your brakes. They have listings for both the x and the S but I don't know if they have ones for the xS. http://www.frozenrotors.com/se...dex=5

Suspension wise this car is new and demand is pretty low for suspension modifications right now. With the current market status most of the companies are limiting R&D so new products are slow to come. The suspension on the xS is different I think but I am not 100% sure on what is technically different.

no slotted drilled available for the X. you can get oem replacments as far as rotors and brakes go. thats what i got because stock was complete garbage.

suspension is the same for all G sedans 2007+

they just do not list it on there because it may affect your traction results. sway bars your got gt spec and ichibasprings are eibach tanabe and hr coils later

Are you looking for name only or actually good parts? Coupling the rotors with Hawk pads is not enough of a name drop?

Considering the alternative ( http://secureshopping.mcafee.c...icehl )

Do a little googling on the Frozen rotors. The science behind what they are doing is pretty impressive. Having worked on police fleet vehicles I remember that the Crown Vics would be lucky if they made it ten grand on rotors and pads, some of the legit testimonials from police fleets rave about the even wear even going to the point of saying they have not replaced rotors in a few years.

Is it the best thing out there...maybe...maybe not. It looks like a great option for the money that the majority of owners are willing to commit.

The process is used in many other industries so actually has some history behind the concept.

I use a shamwow on my fishtank. It's ok. I have also used them to dry my car. They work fair on a light colored car but it's got nothing for a lambskin chamois.

The technology and practical applications are used by many well respected groups. Although I have no personal experience with these. I know the guys in the M forum are raving about them, and very soon there will be many more Nico members that have them. So in due time there will be more information relative to these cars to give you all the information.

One industry where the treatment is popular is the power utilities. It seems like nearly any shaft for example that is exposed to high temperatures recieve this treatment. It is terribly expensive for larger parts but down time is even more expensive. This is significant since waiting an extra day or two for a critical part can mean millions in lost production. However if they can help in regard to preventing a failure than that downtime which is not planned for can be far more expensive then waiting a few extra days and paying the extra for the treatment.

Old thread, but has anyone tried the Frozen Rotors? I havent seen any posts in the search. I recently had my car in for service (30k miles) and they wanted over $1200 bucks for pads and rotors. And they wanted $200 for brake fluid and Power Steering fluid. Flat our ridiculous. So I figure I would try these Frozen Rotors out with some Hawks HPS pads. Also purchased some Super Blue brake fluid and Redline Power Steering. Thinking of upgrading the brake lines as well, but might hold out and just get some better calipers and lines at the end of summer. Unless you guys convince me to get brake lines now :lolling:
