So cant I just buy something that wont combine two pipes into one ( Y pipe) and back to two mufflers? Or do I have to buy a whole catback exhaust?
I heard spacers are easy and cheap things you can do for more hp and torque is this true? What else can I do to add a few more whp and torque besides a turbo or supercharger? I heard cold air intakes work but its already sucking in cold air according to the salesmen and adding a aftermarket stillen intake would suck in hot air. If cold air intake is the way to go I've heard of many water issues with these? Enlighten me please!
do not listen to car salesmen thats your first mistake, they are not liable for anything they tell you anything that is not on paper doesnt mean a thing. thats the first rule. you would be suprised most people who sell cars know very little about them.
I wouldnt go for CAI, just because you would have to put a sock over the filter and the stock system isnt really set up that way anyways...I would go with stillen, whatever air it gets, it is going to be less restricted..? and thats what the shield is for to block away most of the hot air to suck air from the bottom...
and no aftermarket parts do not void your warranty unless they can be proven to be the cause of whatever issue you are having.. i have had a engine swapped out before and I had a CAI they gave me grief but push comes to shove if they cannot prove it is the cause they cannot do anything about it.. but on a side note.. my engine didnt have any issues its the stupid servie mgr who ignored me when I told him it was the intake manifold.. which turns out to be the case anyways.. and was eventually changed.....
always do your own research you cannot depend on anyone expect yourself.. sometimes people on forums can give you good info, in the end use your own judgement.
