Hello everyone, I have a 08 G35X sedan and a couple days ago I got a service engine light. The code was P0420 for low efficiency cat. I am looking into getting this issue fixed with putting on a high flow catalytic converter. Any advice in regards to this repair? Any specific brands I should be looking at? Any help would be appreciated.

First thing to do is make sure you do not have an exhaust leak which could trigger this code.

For HFC's I'm running Invidia on my coupe and it's been issue-free for 6+ years. I've heard good things about Kinetix and a lot of people run Berk.

That or crawl under and listen/check all connectors. A muffler shop should easily be able to tell you if you have a leak.

Sorry but one more question for you. The scanner says its bank 1 so does that mean that it is cat under passengers seat on right side of the vehicle?

Bank 1 is the passenger side.
