'08 G35x Hard Drive Nav Issues

I got my new '08 with Premium and Nav about three weeks ago. I love the car but it has one issue that has been kind of a nuisance.

As soon as I start the car, 4 times out of 5 the Infiniti screen will display on the Nav but then it will not advance to the main OSD. It's bad enough that the HVAC or stereo controls won't work. After a couple minutes, sometimes it will say "HDD is not function properly" and that at least allows me to control the stereo and HVAC. It typically will finally decide that it will work and will be fine for the next few hours. Restarting the car doesn't seem to have much effect on it and sometimes this will last for several minutes. has anyone else had this issue?

Other than that the car is sweet. Took it up skiing last weekend and it was like a tank on the snow and ice. Didn't slip a bit!

I have a 08 G35xS with Nav and Im not having any issues. Sorry Im not more help....

Yea, I haven't heard of any known issues. The dealer was dumbfounded when i talked to them. Guess I will just take the car in and see what they do.
