I've read some of the posts regarding drop-in options (or the lack thereof) for 2008+ G35. I don't want to go K&N or Green as wet filters wreaked havoc on my last vehicle. So, my research seems to have concluded that AFE's Pro Dry S filters are the best option... only they are NOT AN OPTION! Damn. HKS are an option, only there is little or no info to suggest they offer any benefit over paper disposables. Foam? Really? I'm not convinced. I discovered these Cosworth beauties... but have read no opinions/reviews from the G-ride community (or any community for that matter.)

Opinions? Other suggestions? Anyone seen convincing numbers and/or reviews leaning toward a particular dry drop-in product?

P.S. I e-mailed three contacts from Cosworth regarding the fact that the filters advertise "over 98% efficiency in the ISO5011: 200 Fine Dust Test." I requested a copy of the ISO test results.

Let us know what you get. I wonder what the stock filters reveal.

I have HKS in. I did not want to keep buying a paper filter.

I think the decision shouldn't be based so much on being paper, cloth, etc. but on performance. How does the aftermarket filter stack up against the stock filter. I prefer not to have to buy anything that has to be replaced, however if one is better than the other in doing the job it is suppose then I have to lean that direction.

I make my decision based on lot simplier facts. Does it void the warranty yes or no? Does it give me the same performance(Hp) yes or no? At the end I save money with the little maint. vs the paper filter. I wasn't like this before but last year I had some issue with my sewrvice dep. so I decided not to give them a penny other than warranty work. In my case that isn't much in the last 3 years.

I am not the type of guy who keeps his car for more than 3-4 years. Mostly not even so I do have warranty on the car till I trade in that's all the matters to me.
