The AUX in the console was a big + when I bought my G but your correct there is no cool way to control the IPOD.arizonaferrell wrote:Hey Joe,
I bought the Apple Adapter that connects to the center console... there are 3 inputs (YELLOW/WHITE/RED) in the car, but there are 5 Wires with the adapter (YELLOW/RED/WHITE/BLUE/GREEN)... I've tried different combinations witht the blue and green wires, but no such luck... I cannot change anything on the audio console in dash or on the steering wheel... I don't like to use the IPOD, because you are right... it takes your eyes off the road too long... On the info screen in the car, it only say's "AUX" when I connect the IPOD...
I figured that I would buy the Apple Adapter as that would probably be the most compatible, but I think I may have wasted the $50 for the good adapter... any other suggestions would be helpful...
Bumpity Bump Bump...ArizonaG35 wrote:Okay, so I'm bringing this one back from the dead. Everyday I search youtube to see if there are any new videos for the G35/G37. Today, I did my usual search and this video comes up from "LUCID" showing the IPOD integration into the G35...

Question 1: is this the same "LUCID" that is a nicoclub.com member?Question 2: The video mentions that the jack comes included in the car???? NOT MINE! I had to buy an apple jack from best buy... Infiniti did not give me oneQuestion 3: How did this person get the Ipod to interface with the display screen and the steering column controls?
If anyone knows these answers, I would like to know how this is done as I'm currently holding my IPOD on my lap and switching songs/playlists manually (Kinda dangerous, I know, but I always keep my eyes on the road when in motion)
Help is appreciated.
