Welcome guys!

I have the short-ram style intake and I've been very happy with the performance vs. OEM. For the VQ engine, the short ram seems to work better than the longer CAI. The best analogy is drinking through a straw. What is easier, a long narrow straw or a short fat straw?

For moderate driving conditions very slight difference. The difference is when you push on it. It sounds better and really takes off.

Thats false on the fujita power loss, when I first installed it I could feel the extra pull. I've also seen dynos with proven gains
thats a great way to test things. i definatly would also give stillen hundreds of my dollars if they told me that the intake made the car feel like its faster. or any other aftermarket part for that matter.

It's very common to hear noise and think you're going faster. Kind of like the ricers who sound like they're going 90, but really only going 35. That's why things like wires, lightweight pulleys and lightweight wheels are so nice. Your butt-dyno is more accurate because your ears aren't helping it along.
