08 ex35 ignition coil

Discussion of Infiniti's amazing (and underrated) sport-luxury crossovers, the EX35 and EX37. For 2014, the EX series will be renamed QX50, in line with Ininfiit's new naming conventions.

Good question. Not likely, but a peek at the FSM may help (infinitiservicemanual.com)

I'd bet that like most ECM controlled cars now the ECM grounds the coil to work it and no ground used locally at coil itself.........

ok thank you. i had a shop replace the coils going bad, my warranty only covers what the code says, so they are doing 1 every Saturday when they go bad.so i bought myself 3 to install myself and started to wrench on the car when i see coil number 1 bolt is clean snapped off below the coil pack and turns freely. thanks for the info going back to the shop to make them tap out the 10mm screw that holds on the coil.
