Anybody experiencing a rocking sensation in the power driver seat when accelerating and stopping? Dealer says it is normal in 08 coupes and won't fix. Find it slightly annoying, any suggestions would be appreciated!

Exactly, however, I'm still in warranty and they won't fix.

I'm calling BS on them. If the problem didn't exist when you purchased your coupe and it's still under warranty, they'd better damn well fix it for you. Take it to another dealership if you can.

I was experiencing the same problem with mine when I first bought it. I went back to the dealership and asked my friend if I could sit in a few different ones. FYI I have a friend that's a sales and finance manager, another that's a service manager and another that's the shop manager of the dealer I go to. All have been personal friends of mines for years. I took a seat in a few brand new ones with less than 10 miles on them and they all did the same thing. I asked my friend the shop manager and he said it was normal. I noticed now 12k miles later that it's gone . Hope that helps you out dude.

I'm pretty sure with enough complaints, there will be a TSB produced for the coupe seats. The 4 Gen sedans had something called "seat squirm."

You guys have this for the coupes:

NTB09111

* IF YOU CONFIRM: The driver seat bottom (power seat only) very slightly "rocks" and/or "shifts" back and forth when accelerating, braking, or when making a turn, ACTION: Replace the driver seat cushion frame assembly (adjuster assembly) with a new one. See this bulletin for further detail.

LINK

There is a TSB for you coupe owners, I'm checking to see if there are any free sites to get the PDF.

Sweet, thanks for the tip, will investigate at a dealer or two and report back.
