08 altima exhaust rust issue

Hey, i just bought a altima about two weeks ago and today this rust on the exhaust caught my eye. Is this normal? Do you think i should take it to the dealer? Also will they fix it? I only have 331 miles on it.

I do believe there is like a 60k standard mile warranty against rust and a few other things. You should go in and just complain and make them buy you a Stillen Catback

Also there will be rust on your hub that you might be able to notice too. Im goin to get as much out of the warranty as i can. Use it and abuse it

my car has 2,500 miless and when i was installing fog light i notice i have some rusts too. Gonna take it to the dealer too.

A little surface rust on an exhaust system is normal. It isn't stainless steel or it isn't treated, so I'm sure it will happen to all of them. Now if a hole starts opening up, then you have to start worrying. Other than that, I wouldn't really think too much about it.

If there is a 60k warranty, dont' worry about it. Document it and wait until 59k.
