LOL I call it how it is, and I've complimented hundreds of cars on NICO bud :weak:

:werd: THAT would look amazing. This guy should have painted his gray or even black to match the body color.. not red?

+1 this guy never says anything nice. With that amount of posts within a month (7xx) leads me to believe he's just a little boy named Eric who spends all day on Nico checking out cars.

As for the OP, the headlights came out great. Pretty clean look but would definitely look better on red. You have any trouble aligning the projectors?

Nice setup, how did you align and mounted the projector/shrouds?

Sal, my friend, I used to be a moderator on here - infiniti_lineup was the username. Please do spend some time to go through all of my posts and the posts made by my old username over the past two years to see the hundreds of compliments and kind words that I've made on member's vehicles on NICO. While I spend most of my time in the M-Series Forum and most of my kind comments lie in that forum, I do sometimes stagger over to the Altima forum here and again and see some awful sights. I suppose if you want to see more kind comments from me then a few of you should take it as an initiative on your own parts to do more organized and better looking modifications. A red painted headlight thrown on a gray vehicle just doesn't seem right to me, but, of course, we will all have different opinions. I have not badgered any of you or your comments on this thread, please do not do it to me. Thank you. :)

Now - let's get this thread back on track… Does the OP have any more pictures further away from the vehicle? Though this really isn't my taste, I'm always up to see more pictures!

i had no trouble aligning the projectors. i put the projectors in the headlight and put it back on the car then turned on the lights to straighten the cutoff. i will post pics of the cutoff this weekend, but it looks the same as any other morimoto h1 cutoff. i know this styling of paint isnt for everyone, but i just wanted to post it up for other to see what kind of work i can do.

All you needed to say. Ya it might not look good but the guy who did the headlights did a good job on them so you can at least say something positive to him instead of just saying it looks horrible and leaving it at that.

thanks guys :)

no i've done other retros before, plenty of morimotos and a few rx330's. however, the altima headlight was the first that had permanent sealant on it so i had to dremel it open instead of using a heat gun.
