Need a little help. I'm buying my fiance a coupe in a couple of months. What performance parts should I look into getting. Also, any recommendations on wheel. Thanks for the help.

Are you getting the 2.5 or 3.5?

If you get the 3.5, there's already a pretty big existing aftermarket from the Maxima and earlier Altima as well as some parts that can cross over from the old G35 and 350z to the Altima.

If you get the 2.5, you still benefit from an existing aftermarket from the old Altima and the Sentra SE-R.

Would the Nismo intake for the 350z function on the 3.5 altima coupe? Would it fit properly?

No other model's application is going to fit our vehicles. Wait patiently for one to come out that is made for our car specifically. The layout under the hood is different than of the Maxima or the Z. Patience We are driving a brand new car.

Anyway, on topic here. Voodoo asked about what he should consider. An intake and exhaust will most definitely be coming down the pipe soon I would think. Not to mention a few suspension mods.

Haven't looked under the hood of the coupe. But there is NO room for a CAI on the sedan. Fujita tried it, and gave up. But they did just come out with a warm air intake, that picks up 12 hp, maybe a little more. Maybe a CAI will work with a 2.5, but the V6 just has too many things interfering.
