Here are some times for Altimas VS. G's . Even these times don't tell much about the cars, the mileage on the cars, how tuned, etc.

These are relative to the group, not any specific cars. Any car could beat any other car depending on a ton of different factors, not the least of which is the money invested in modifications. Even the slowest Altima is still a respectable 14.5 at 94.
My point is that without a time slip, I can't tell good from bad.
RN, while I was on your side regarding my first post (only because its the truth), these times you posted are completely useless!!!!
The A/C is tuned to 270 hp, and while the 3rd generation altimas still had the same VQ35De engine, they were ALL tuned lower!!!!
The fact of the matter is this, the 2008 A/C is ACTUALLY tuned to 270 hp, the older G35 claims of 275 HP was under the older NON STANDARD HP ratings, thus they were actually putting out less than that.
I've since seen numerous A/C race G35 coupes at the drag strip, and they ALL smoke the G35 coupes. BUt that was the 2003 - 2006 G35 coupes. In 2007, they retuned the G35 coupe and G35 sedan (298 hp and 306 hp respectively) There was only 1 year when the G35 coupe was tuned to higher specs, and that was 2007.
So, the 2007 and 2008 G35 sedans are tuned higher, and are faster, but the previous models were tuned lower. Now we could all find a bunch of stats on paper and on the internet. But if you go to any track, with similar drivers, tires, stock setups, the 2008 G35 sedan would own an A/C. But to compare any G35 sedan to 3rd generation, "under-tuned" Altimas is not a fair comparison!
