08 A/C electrical problem?

Hey whats up nico.... i recently bought this 08 altima 2.5 sl and now im having an issue with my a/c when i bought it the a/c seemed to work.(it was winter) Now that the weather is nicer i tried the a/c and it blowing hot air . i brought it to my local shop and it seems to be something electrical he ran all the normal test and there where no leaks ,the compressor wasnt coming on but when he put sum power to the compressor it turned on n it worked. so he said he checked the relay and fuse and they where fine . he said the problem was the intelligent power distribution module (ipdm) which is in the fuse box in the engine bay. i find it weird because there are no other problems with the car and most problems with the "ipdm" are no starting issues. ... would a bad pressure switch cause the compressor not to come on
