ok guys here is the problem, i have a single cd player, and it seems to skip for half a sec real quick within the range of 49-59 seconds into the first song everytime i insert a new cd. so i took it to the dealer since they asked me to bring it in, and they said that "actual real" cd's work fine, just the burned cd's skip since the "computer" isnt used to readin burn cds yet...but its been a month now, and everytime i change cd's, it still skips for 1 second on the first track. and i have no scratches on cds etc. or what not cuhz i've tested it with several different cds.. anyone else have this problem?

no worries...the dealers BS to u about these stuff more then 90% of the time...

they bs to me about the clutch noise...while my clutch got stuck once... they said thats normal and they couldnt find the problem why it was stuck...

after they took the car and looked at my clutch... the noise of the clutch changed....changed to the worse... i hate dealers... so much...

I had the same problem with my old Alpine when I used cheap CD's. Never had a problem with Sony or Fuji discs, so those are the ONLY ones I use now. Try burning on different discs and see if that works. If you ever need a new OEM CD player, let me know. I have one that was removed when the car was 1 week old.

Quote »since the "computer" isnt used to readin burn cds yet [/quote] Dealerships have some funny responses but that one is very funny. Not used to reading them yet? When will it be 'used' to them? Can you actually train your cd player and teach it to learn?

I have a 6 disc changer in the trunk of my Acura; it HATES burned discs.

I only used burned discs with MP3s in my A/C and it reads them perfectly.

Yeah---so far no trouble using burned discs in my A/C. Then again, I only drive her about 3 or 4 times a week.

Anyways... I have no original CD's in my car. They're all burned, the originals stay in my house. And I've never had this problem yet. So it's a problem with your car. Tell the dealer your player will never 'learn' to play them.

Like I said earlier, I really think it's the discs that you're using. Try a Sony and Fuji and I think you may have a winner.

Wow, I guess it is your player then. If Nissan doesn't fix it, I do have an extra deck, pretty much brand new.
