'08 2.5S valve train noise

I have an '08 2.5S CVT and there seems to be excessive valve train noise when it's cold. I understand clearances are going to open up when it's cold and things are going to make more noise, but this is rather disturbing. Makes me nervous but I don't really have the ability to leave the car overnight at the dealership to let them hear it, and the 5 mile drive to the dealership is sufficient to warm up the engine so it can't be heard.

Anyone else notice this in their 2.5S? I'm a little paranoid about it since I plan on buying the car when the lease is up in a couple more years and don't want a damaged engine, which is what it's sounding like. I've mentioned it to the guys at the dealership and they don't seem concerned about it.

I live in NY and have the same problem, at first i was worried as well, but then after the car warms up for a while it goes away.

It sounds like the engine is about to break and the car feels really weak
