2nd owner of the car, doesn't look like any previous electrical modifications were done. Main constant outlet under armrest works great, but every time I try to use the front outlet, the fuse blows.

- Tried multiple cords w/different devices.
- Tried having them plugged in then powering on car, as well as plugging in after car already powered on.

Any ideas on likely culprit or how to check for short in the wiring? Not super car savvy but have a background in computer/phone repair so fairly adept technologically.

Welcome to NICO!

Can you check any of the wiring in that area to see if something is possibly shorted? I've seen sometimes where if a penny gets stuck in those things then as soon as you plug it in it will fry the fuse.. Most likely, something is causing the circuit to short out, so now it's just a matter of finding where it's at. Most likely it's going to be the socket itself or something close to the socket.
