Dear moderators, before you lock this thread up, the company is a registered vendor, just asked me to keep their name private for the time being, if you'd like to know, please PM me.

As you all know there is nothing new coming out to do with the front end of the 08-09 altima coupes. And if i remember correctly when we first saw the fox marketing turbo coupe (the white one) majority of us liked the front fat lip on that vehicle.

So onto the main point. I am currently talking with a nico vendor who is interested in making this lip for us, but has asked me to post up an interest thread. Gave me the options of carbon fiber, duraflex, poly urethane. They want to see how many of us are willing to get at this lip, so please vote!!!!

I already have my Stillen Fascia. I am surprised that company 'X' would want to make a lip for a car that has already changed the front on its newer model. Also if it is ED then I would say def not unless you want to spend money on poor fitment. Only reason I still rock the hood/trunk is because it didn't cost anything.

Can you make the fox marketing hood instead? ;)

I don't know how interested I'd be in the lip. Purely aesthetic, and I'd like to save my money for other mods.

about half of us have stillen fascia. so the vote will have to count out of stillen fascia user. Perhaps company X could make a lip for stillen fascia and lip for stock bumper. that will get everyones attention.

bump.

the hood seems pointless. i'm pretty sure whoever goes the forced induction route, would want their turbo to sit flush nice underneath the hood. plus i'd be worried about all the water sucked into that hole in the hood during rain season for some of us.

any more input on the lip is welcome!!

BUMP

I have no intention of going turbo. But that hole is perfect for getting more and cooler air to the intake. Maybe there needs to be some kind of splash guard designed into it, but just the same, it's better than breathing through a straw to the grille and/or sucking in engine-heated air.

He'll, even a cap that you could snap on in wet weather would make it worth it. Super simple design, and had I the manufacturing tools available to me, I'd do it myself.

By itself, that kind of a modification might not be worth the price of a new hood (but I'd be tempted), but if it's CF as DZ suggests, I'd go for it in an instant.

Idk the difference between polyurethene and duraflex but I'd buy a fat lip in a heartbeat. Any chance for a 2010 application, or even a one-off pricier lip for 2010s? I'm always willing to pay more for something I want as long as it's a reasonable price.
