07 vs 08 M45

A Local dealer selling remaining 07 M45 for $10,000 off MSRP (new purchase). Deal or no deal?

My question is the $10000 off for the new 2007 M45 justified compared to the newer 2008 model--more advanced equipment, system improvements, and the like...? And by the way what are the changes from 2007 and 2008 other than a minor facelift?

Hello,I suppose the biggest change is the availability of AWD. Given you live in SoCal, not an issue. The bumpers are slightly different and the nav system is now hard drive based. In addition, you should be able to load CD's and store them on your drive along with MP3's. Also, I believe Stone is a new interior color and Sirius is the only available Sat provider. I would see how much 08 M's are going for. Given the downturn in the economy and the fact that the M is no longer class leading anymore (5SP AT, lower h.p than competitors, etc...), discounts should be there for the taking. The hard drive part is sweet, not ten thousand dollar sweet though.Cheers,M.L

For what itsworth I would have gone with a price reduced 07, but wanted the AWD - so not an option. I think the face lift is nice, as is the hard drive - but like previous post said, not $10,000. (But whatever you do - BUY ONE - hugely enjoyable ride!
