I can't find the oil that the manual calls for, could I use the next weight above or bellow? Also what are your thoughts about going fully synthetic??

Thanks.

I have an 09 and had to get the oil from a dealer. I believe the important item is to use GL4 type rather than GL5 since there have been some problems with some GL5 oil attacking the metal on the synchronizers in the transmission.

I'm currently using Castrol Manual Syntrans 75W85. It's fully Synthetic oil and was recommended to me by the Nissan Dealership.

I use AmsOil, not sure the viscosity but I made sure it was GL-4. It works better than original.
