The pipes increase your exhaust flow out so if you can get more air and fuel in yes you will make more power.

I'm interested in the mod too. If you do it take you G to the track before and after! Make sure you get the weather on both trips so we can see how much time you pick up with the mod.

I think AZFerrell was thinking about the complete Stillen exhaust a month or two ago.

Thanks

Jeff

where have you seen the ypipes at ? the only ones that ive seen where on ebay. i think when i do buy it i'll also buy one of the two intakes. ive read that the performance numbers are about the same. that its just based on looks. if that is the fact then i'll go on whats the loudest. let me know if you find anything out.

Yeah I have not seen Y pipes or test pipes alone. everythingg35 sells the stillen exhaust

You could probably take it to an exhaust shop and have the pipes you want made cheaper then the stillen kit.

A shop I used to use would do whatever you wanted but if you were having the cats removed you paid cash and didn't get a receipt.

Yeah Jeff, I had been considering the Stillen Catback exhaust, but along with the rest of the country right now, my consumer confidence is not at it's peak... I work in real estate so it's been a bit of a shaky year needless to say. I've also been waiting to see if any other company produces the exhuast for the car. I know it's a new model, but from what I've seen, only stillen makes the catback exhaust for the car right now... I'd like to see a few more options IE_Tanabe, Borla, ETC... besides, the price has risen on this exhaust... 2 months ago stillen priced it at just over $1k... it's now around $1,100 bucks! Too much to spend on an exhaust right now...

Yep, I hear you buddy. My cousin is a realtor and her husband is a appraiser.

Borla has an awesome sound! I'd be curious to see how much an exhaust shop would charge to piece together a system for you. I'd bet you could save at least $300.

Thats what I did with my Hemi for all 5 exhaust systems I tried. I just took it to the exhaust shop told them what size pipe I wanted and where I wanted it ran. The most expensive was about $600 and that was running dual 3" pipe with them selling me the muffler and doing the installation. I had 2" then dual 2.5" and finally dual 3" exhaust. Once you get above 500 hp you need dual 3" :-)
