Hi all!

I have owned this car for 10 years. It has almost 270k miles.

Lately it started cranking a little longer than normal but will still start on the first try. Then almost simultaneously next time I fueled up the gas pump will shut off as if the tank was full, which was nowhere near full. I also got a small emissions leak code for which I immediately replaced the gas cap with no change.

I replaced the following one by one so far:

Charcoal canister, vent valve, purge valve solenoid, and finally the fuel pump itself which I had tested.

This was able to fix the problem when fueling up at the gas station, but the long crank is still there and now If I drive somewhere and shut off the engine for a short period of time, it doesn’t want to start back up right away. It takes multiple long cranks to eventually get it started. It does not do this at any other time. I also tried to sort of prime the fuel line for a few seconds before starting after a short stop with mixed results.

I appreciate any helpful advice! Thanks!

Clogged fuel filter? Faulty fuel pressure regulator? Ignition issues? I'm shootin' in the dark here. Not much to go on?
