I took the new pathfinder OffRoad out this weekend and wanted to break in the 4x4 (this included some minor off-roadin on dirt roads and some hilly mountain roads), and on the way back into town noticed that the vdc and slip lights were on. Thought it was odd, but we stopped for lunch and I figured the re-start would re-set....nope....still on all the way home ( about another 90 miles) This morn on the way to work same deal...if there is an easy fix to this issue please let me know so I dont have to look like a tool at the dealership.

Thx

Do you feel any free-play in the steering wheel if you try to rock it side to side and top to bottom?

No there is no free play in the steering wheel, and now there is another weird part in this event. Last night on the way home from work I stopped in to Discount Tire to see if I had picked up something in a tire because of a slow leak. No leak-prob. a bad seal, anyway after they were done with the tire I was driving home and the VDC/ Slip lights went off. I was happy to see that, until this morning when about halfway into work the friggin lights came back on in a turn on the freeway....wtf is up with these stupid lights?
