I'm assuming your basic warranty (3-yr/36K miles) is over. Still, that's too early for a simple heater plate to fail. Have you check the fuses, Heated Seat relay and connectors? Below is the link to FSM (Factory Service Manual). Go to page SE-96 (Seat section) for seat assembly, SE-85 for description and SE-88 for wiring diagram.

My car was passed to Nissan dealer and thorough check they found the whole passenger side should be replaced by new heat element but I check the heat element just less than 100.00 but they quote the cost of repair 1,200 to 1,400. I thought I just fix the bottom rather entire system. Any idea?

Check with NICO sponsor, Ios (Infiniti of Scottsdale) - infinitipartsUSA.com a.k.a. 'everythinginfiniti.com.' They sell OEM parts for @ 25% off MSRP. Joe Tesensky and his staff should be able to help you. They are very knowledgeable about Nissan/Infiniti parts. I buy most of my parts there.

Seat heater is a nice feature to have, especially during winter. But it is something you can live without. So you can set aside a weekend to look deeper into the problem. I still cannot believe that a simple heater plate will fail this early. Usually, it's just a matter of having a loose connection that causes the problem. I know Nissan already did a diagnostic but there is no harm on doing it on your own. If you know how to use a multimeter, you can compare the resistance of the driver-side heater elements (good) with the supposedly bad pax side heater. Refer to page SE-84 for the basic seat heater location, then SE-88 onwards for wiring diagram and then SE-96 onwards for the actual seat heater installation.

WATCH OUT for air bag connectors (usually with yellow wires) on the seat. You have to make sure the batery has been disconnected for at least 3 mins before working on the seats. Do not do any resistance test on those connectors. Please refer to precautions about air bags

I have same idea. One import thing I have to mention. Last summer I installed HD Radio and opened the console and dash board. Do you think the wire come along the console to the bottom of seat?

In the back you can feel the heat but bottom nothing.
