Hey guys I'm totally new to this kind of stuff but I like what I see because of all the help and suggestions that everyone gives to each other.

I currently have an 07 M45 and currently on the vehicle I have, Dual magnaflow custom exhaust system and a UPREV. I'm looking into putting some other performance accessories but its hard to find parts for this specific vehicle. I know that m37 has lots of performance parts but why not the M45, I don't know just doesn't make any sense to me. Back to what I'm trying to ask here. Does any one here know of any other performance parts other then the ones that I already have??

I've been looking into getting some type of an intake system but I've been hearing that installing this particular of an apparatus isn't the smartest idea because of the damage that it can do to your vehicle. Has anyone here ever had any problems with an intake system on there vehicles? If you guys have any suggestions regarding this, please inform me as to how to make the right choice.
Thanks!!

And one more thing, how do you guys put an image of your vehicle on your page. I've bed trying to add a pic of my M so you guys can see her but I don't seem to figure it out.

The M35 and M37 share the same motor with the G35/350z/G37/370z that are much more popular tuner platforms, so there's a big enough market to R&D and mass produce after market parts... the 45 is pretty much only in the M45 and FX45, neither of which are popular to mod (with the general public)

I would seriously consider a transgo valvebody upgrade, it'll make a huge difference in the aggressiveness of the shifting, as well as a custom Y-pipe with rear cat delete if that isn't already a part of your custom exhaust. K&N drop in filter with airbox mod, or a CAI, just be careful its not going all the way down into the fender if you're in an area that rains much.

Drop in one step colder NGK iridium plugs, and retune. unless you want to drop $$$$$$ for a set of custom headers or port your intake manifold that's pretty much it. There is a guy on the FX forum who's doing cams in his VK45, but its been a huge fiasco getting it right, and I think he's on his 3rd motor and just now getting it running.

For a CAI there is none better than R2C's Ram air for our M45's.

So your saying that r2c isn't great for my car. Why is that? Do you know of something better?

I would be curious to hear about this as well. I am currently using the Injen CAI and want to make sure I am using the best solution.
