I bought my 2007 M45 Sport a year and half ago without knowing that the 19', 5 star rims had been chrome dipped. I thought the chrome was from the factory. My tires (all 4) started losing air randomly, so I took it to my Infiniti dealership to get checked. Come to find out that the chrome is corroding the rims and chunks are literally falling off...I saw it with my own eyes. So, I need to replace all 4 rims because re-chroming supposedly will not help.

Infiniti will gladly replace them for $3k, $750 per rim. I found them on ebay for $400/rim, but would like to see if anyone knows a reputable place where I can find them for less? Or, any ideas of what I can do to fix this issue.

Thank you in advance for your help!

Welcome to the forum and sorry to hear about your wheel situation. Not sure if you like the 06/07 style bettter, but one of the members on here, username The Bodyguard, is selling a set of the M 45S rims for much less than that. Good luck with whatever you decide to do! :bigthumb:
