Hello all,

First off I apologize, I've looked all over this site for the basic information for doing a brake job on my '07 M35 Sport but couldn't find the basic stuff.

I just need some assistance as to what is needed and or recommended to do a brake job on my car. I have 47,000 miles on it at this time.

Do I need to do both front and back at the same time? What pads are needed/recommended?Do I have to change the brake fluid? Are there any special tools/sockets needed for the job.

Thanks in advance,

Rav

We couldn't tell you if both the front and rear need a brake job without looking at the car. You will just have look at the thickness of the brake pads (inner and outer pad) on each wheel and make your own evaluation.I see quite a few guy here changing over to EBC slotted/ drilled rotors and Hawk brake pads. Though you can save yourself some money and buy the OEM parts from: http://www.infinitipartsusa.co...gid=0The parts prices are very reasonably priced. No special tools needed if you have most mechanic tools available : 10mm through 22mm socket set will get you through this. Remember to use lock tight (medium) on the bolts when you reinstall everything. Torque nuts and bolts to specs.Yes, it is recommended to flush the old brake fluid out and replace with new fluid. You should be able to find these topics on here about different brake jobs and what aftermarket brake parts members have used.
