I have a 07 M35 that the climate controls on both front seats has failed. Im assuming the TED assemblies have failed and if anybody has has success replacing the TED's on the seats. The fan and filters are not part of the problem. The console temp adjustment controls open the safety fuses and the power drops out until the safety resets. Anybody replace or repair with aftermarket items.

I dunno about aftermarket, but I just replaced a pair of them on a Titan where the fan quit and overheated both Peltiers. They aren't difficult to replace, although the seatback unit does require knowing your way around upholstery. Otherwise it's a zip-tie job, nothing special. Your real problem will most likely be parts, the seatback elements are discontinued and I don't see any aftermarket ones. So you might need to kluje a seat cushion unit into the seatback. There's actually one OE cushion unit on eBay for $25:

One of my seats failed, the TED unit I bought didn't fix the problem. The other works fine, any ideas?
