I drive an 07 M45 and I have some problems with is i recently bought in on Jun 16th of this year and i have some problems
The first would be my headlight i went into pep boys and i had thought it was my HID bulb so they switched it out and it still didnt turn on so they told that i needed an OEM part called a Ballest Line for the HID's i need one for my car and if anyone has a great website that sells OEM parts a link to that would be great.
Second my Rear RIght window keeps coming down and i do not know why the its not like its loose and it just slams down its like someone is pressing the auto down buttom for the window to come down and it stays like that for hours until i turn the car back on and it comes up again by me pressing the button all the other windows work perfectly fine but that one.
Third is my seats when we turn the car off and open the door the seat slides back and the steering wheel goes up and then when the car starts it goes to how you had it before you had turned it off, But today after work i had turned my car on and my steering wheel didnt move down to the normal position and my seat scooted up just a little bit so i dont know whats wrong.

Any help to any of these problems would be so thankful thank you for helping!

OK. I was hoping that some 06-07 owners would chime in as it's been ages since I had my 07. But I shall give it a go.
First, I must say that unless you have a history of success with places like Pep Boys, I'd avoid them like the plague. These cars deserve properly trained technicians, not wanna-be mechanics. I recommend you find a local mechanic that you can trust. I use the dealer. It costs more, but nothing about these cars is cheap and I only want to pay for a repair once. If you use the dealer and the part goes bad, they fix it free.

On to the window. You say it 'slams' down. Do you mean it simply drops down like in free-fall? That is very rare. If it winds itself down at normal speed, you might want to check the actual door mounted switch - it might be going bonkers and needs replacement.

The headlamp: If you have the factory installed HIDs, the bulb size is "D2S" - make sure that is the bulb number Pep Boys used. And, again ... do NOT buy bulbs from Pep Boys - they don't carry any D2S bulbs that I would trust. 85% of D2S or similar bulbs sold by places like them (Ebay, Craigs, auto parts stores) is a cheap knock-off and will fail in no time. Those bulbs should cost between 80-100 dollars each. The lowest cost bulb that performs flawlessly is made by Phillips #85126. And buy them from a place called The Retrofit Source. Currently, I use the Osram CBH bulbs, but the Phillips bulbs are closest to OEM.

If you really need a ballast, it is possible to buy one, but it's best to just buy an HID kit and change both headlamps at once. That way you can be sure you won't ever have problems for at least 5-10 years.

There are many videos on youtube to show you how to install.
This blurb is from the Osram factory:
The Retrofit Source offers these bulbs in their original retail packaging from Osram - shipping genuine Philips & Osram lamps in the US. It is estimated that 80% of these bulbs sold through outlets such as eBay or Amazon are fakes.

Now on to the steering wheel, seat issue:
In your center stack (A/C NAV switches) there is button labeled "Setting". In that queue you will see a sub-group called 'others'. Scroll down that list and you will see may convenience options. I turned the seat movement OFF because I don't want the motor in the seat to run twice every time I get in or out of the car. I left the 'lift steering wheel' ON and it works correctly about 75% of the time since I bought the car. For my seat: I spent many many minutes adjusting the seat to where I want it, then used the memory seat function to save it. Once you are sure the side mirrors, steering wheel and seat are where you like them, press the "set" button on the door. The car must be running AND in Park. When the set button lights up, press the 1 or 2 button and the mirrors, steering wheel, and seat will be saved under that number. Now, no matter who moves or plays with seat, mirrors, or wheel ... You get in, start the car, press #1 (or 2) and everything goes back to your fav position.
i have no clue what sort of physical deformity would require that my seat moves backwards to get me out of the car. It seems a useless thing to me but the wheel is a nice touch.
