So I just burnt my whole day trying to get some after market exhaust headers to fit. It’s appears that the flange is *just* off. Tried taking the studs out and everything, nothing. Anyways. What’s the cheapest performance headers for the M35. Specifically 2007 Infiniti m35 base rwd. Thanks!

Oof, I've been there. Not with an M but with a 4th gen. Maxima...definitely a bummer!

Im going to guess you bought another brand besides DC? All other brands have the exact same flange issue because they are all copies of each other. Even the DC one can have trouble on some model years it claims to be compatible with because of steering rack clearance issues.

Yea 600$ for maybe 15 hp isn’t worth it, especially when I’m going boosted, I may just buy a used set, cut the flanges, and weld it to mine, that 70$ eBay price tag was just irresistible

I just used the stock headers on mine for turbo. Not the prettiest, and probably not quite as efficient as nice matched runner length headers, but it got the job done plenty fine. Still could make 840 whp with them (without cats, using 3" exhaust the whole way back, and E85 with 1200cc injectors on an aggressive tune)
