Looking at a 07' G35x with 158,000 miles on it. Is this worth buying? It has every option and is a very clean looking vehicle. Going to ask the dealer tomorrow if they have any service history on it. Are there things to look for?

I traded in my 06 G35 6sp with 171796 miles because it needed a few thousand dollars worth of repairs

Sure if the price is low enough, you have it inspected by an authorized Infiniti dealer that provides you with a complete inspection report.
Have a few thousand dollars in reserve just in case some needed repairs crop up shortly after purchase.

The VIN number and the vehicle history including all services.
Have the vehicle professionally and completely inspected
How many previous owners?
In what state was the vehicle purchased?
Flood damage?
Accident damage?
Any unprofessional modifications or anything not factory installed?

Good luck

What kind of repairs needed done? Also what kind of issues do these cars have?

It needed brakes and rotors all around because the first set of replacement pads and turned rotors installed at 85k miles were still on the vehicle
It also needed a drivers side headlamp ballast assembly with a part cost of over $700 without labor
It also had a leaking differential seal that required a few hours of labor to replace a low cost seal.
Since I had an upcoming drive from NJ to Florida I decided it wasn't worth taking a chance of breaking down in states with few Infiniti dealers and the possible ruined vacation hassle factor.
I've been very happy with my current 2012 G37S 6 speed.

My advice is if you are going to purchase a Infiniti with that kind of mileage be sure you have a couple of thousand in reserve just in case of unforeseen issues and pay to have the vehicle thoroughly inspected and the VIN number run by an Infiniti dealer and give you a complete service history. You can then use that info to negotiate price lower than whatever the seller is asking.

Good luck

If the vehicle has been maintained you are fine. You can manually inspect things like brake pads and such but don't know whether the motor/transmission/diff and such have been properly maintained. See if the dealership will throw some form of limited warranty on it.
