07 G35 trouble starting and turning off

My car is haunted. I have the yellow no key on the dash. Sometimes starts right away, others I have to jiggle the steering and push the the start button a bunch. When I try to turn it off it won't turn off. I push the button, open shut the door,... eventually it will stop. If I leave the key fob in or near the car it will turn itself back on to the on position. I have to take the fob out of range to eventually get it to go back to off. Sometimes while driving the dash lights will turn off and on. I thought it might be related to the Steering lock because cranking the steering allows it to start sometimes so I did the pull the fuse hack but that didn't fix anything. Also, because it has problems turning off I think this could be something else. Anyone got any ideas?

Have you replaced the battery in the FOB?

Yes I have changed the battery. The FOB could maybe be the culprit if the problem only related to starting. The car should shut off Fob or not, right?
