Does it have a designated subwoofer control, or just a regular EQ menu with highs mids and lows?.

I am a bass head, and like the separate control, so the output can be used to add an aftermarket amp and sub with all the oem componenets. Other than a hi low converter

I believe you only have the standard adjustments (bass, tone, fader). Everything else is handled internally by pre-set EQ curves. I'm sure it is like the "other" Bose systems in that it decreases bass as you turn up the volume. If you decide to add another standalone sub, make sure the amp you use has a bass knob for adjustments to help get over the way the Bose system defeats it.

Since I have not heard the '07 system, maybe they have it right this time? Doubtful.
