So I'm driving around a loaner while my coupe is getting it's engine replaced.

I'm going to compain about the sedan, so for all of you 07 sedan lovers, go read about how Obama is going to cure cancer or something k?

For those of you who have driven the newer sedans, is it just me or is the throttle pedal super touchy? Saving gas in the car must be a nightmare with that pedal.

Also, I noticed that the transmission pulls a weeble wobble effect on the car when it decides to shift 3 times in 5 seconds. Is this normal?

I have 2 great things to say about the car:

Acceleration is crazy (even if it's only because of the squishy suspension).I love the rice paper texture on the aluminum.

The rest of the interior is...

The sensitive pedal feel has been brought up before in another post it was factory recall/adjustment which is fixed in the 08 and newer sedans. To your transmission comment...can't say i experienced that when I drove a loaner, felt the same as the G37's transmission I test drove.

I felt the same way about the 07 sedans...that pedal is WAY to touchy! The wife hates the rear lights...or we'd probably have one to replace her lancer.

This is funny. Definitely time for an upgrade from the lancer. Tell her that in addition to all of the luxury features, she also get disc AND drum rear brakes hahahahaha.

Must have fixed it in the '08-The transmission is great as far as I am concerned. The gas pedal is bottomless. The difference in this generation and the last is night and day. I'd be on a different board if not for the latest generation of G's.

The gas pedal does take ALOT of getting used to. Its almost like they used a tiny micro switch for the e throttle. I think they may have fixed the throttle issue in late 07.

The transmission problems are due to a different driver and different driving style every day. After a few thousand miles the transmission will get used to what you want and stop hunting.
