07 G35 sedan 6M - sounds... normal??

Hi G-owners,

Just wondering if anyone can give me some feedback on the 2007 G-sedan manual transmission -

during IDLE... I get odd sounds from somewhere near engine/ under the driver side. It only happens with the car being stopped, gear in neutral, and clutch is disengaged. ENGAGE THE CLUTCH, and sound is gone.

I've asked infiniti service to look at it, but they said they found nothing abnormal.

the sound is beginning to bother me... it's like a mechanical -chatter.

Feedback please?

Not sure from your description. The easiest way to get to the dealer fire up another g35 MT and see if you hear the same. If not just tell them to fix it.

Yea me too! I don't have any type of chatter unless I turn the car off... but all the G35's do that
