From 0-130 the G wins.

BMW 650 pulled out in front of me early Sat morning. I had time and room but since it was a BMW I floored it and did a emergency lane change.

He floored it as I roared past but I pulled 2 car lengths on him and held him. We came up on the next light yellow and both stopped. Hes reving his motor and inching forward. I turned off the VDC and put the transmission in DS mode. Looked over and noded with a smile.

Light turns green and I laid enough rubber to kick the back end out a little, he was sleeping so we left at the same time. He pulled hood on me in 1st when I went into 2nd the tires chirped and I pulled door on him. At the 3rd gear shift I was rear bumper at his front bumper and slowly pulling away. By 130 I was 2 car lengths ahead.

I go to the track alot but have never gotten to line up against a 650 before so I took the risk and ran him on the street. After I felt really stupid but very proud of the G!

It was 7am Sat morning on a 4 lane street with center divider and a 50 mph posted limit and an undeveloped part of town. Nothing but cactus and dirt, no homes no business yet. No other cars. I know street racing is dumb and don't usually do it I just thought you guys would be happy to know a 07 Sedan can beat a BMW 650!

Sorry you don't believe me dude,

I use Edmunds to research cars too and trust them. I couldn't find the 650ci 0-60 times on their web site but since my story is in dispute I did research on Automobile Magazines web site. They did 0-62 in 5.4 seconds with the 6spd I'm pretty sure I was racing an automatic, link below.

Anyhow I raced one I beat it pretty badly especially above 100 mph. The driver looked pissed, it was stupid and fun. Sorry you don't believe my story.

i believe you. i race all the time a lot of random cars too and its on the street. never said that i dont believe you. its all good. just based on the info that i found online the numbers were different and u were there and not me and u know what happened and your happy with the outcome. i on the other hand post videos of my races on here. so if and when i beat someone or when i get beat its all on tape as proof. i understand u were driving and would of been stupid of u to race and record at the same time but thats something i would and a matter of fact did many times before. fox ex. the recent vid of me racing a evo where he couldnt pass me and i was driving and recording at the same time. more HP and more parts on it but could not pull on me, and yes the numbers on evos are way better than our g's. so way to be. just my 2 pennies of thoughts on this thread. not intentional.

Its cool,

I shoot video at the track or private property only, none on the street. I've heard of people posting street racing videos and then having the police show up at their house later. Esp if you have been bragging about it and are at a high rate of speed. 130 is go to jail fast no way I'd want to prove it with a video.

Congrats on the EVO kill, I looked at that car before I chose the G they are very quick. I didn't like how hard the little 4 banger had to work though. The G is much smoother.

The race I have a hard on for is my G35 Vs 07 Lexus I350. Should be very close might even come down to driver error or traction?

Side note, PHOENIX people

Would be very sweet to have a track day? We could try to rent SpeedWorld or PIR for a few hours.
