07 frontier has no security?

Long story short. We had a break in at our carlot last night. They came in looking for keys but we never keep the keys there. These were professionals because they knew exactly which vehicle to try to go after. Lucky for us the frontier was blowing the ecm fuse so you have to replace the fuse before you start the truck lmao the the thieves even took our battery charger to try to charge the truck and left it sitting outside plugged up. I'm trying to figure out ways to beef up security on our property but I didn't know the frontier could start without the key. The thieves drilled the lock cylinder trying to start it. After replacing the fuse I was able to start with a screw driver. Thought for sure these trucks had chipped keys. I'll leave the battery out of the truck for now.
